Alum Rock | Hillside, Pool House, Swimming Pools, Hardscape & Softscape

San Jose, CA

A sprawling hillside estate spanning roughly two-thirds of an acre, built through the height of the pandemic over two and a half years. The scope included a 2,000 square foot pool house, a matching garage, three water features (a lap pool, a play pool, and a spa), a basketball court, and extensive retaining walls, finished with mahogany box-beam ceilings and a custom spiral staircase.

Los Altos | Backyard Retreat

A blank-slate backyard transformed into resort-style outdoor living, with a new pool, infinity spa, and built-in barbecue. The centerpiece is a raised, ring-shaped fireplace cast on site and rebuilt until the form was exactly right.

Almaden | Complete Interior Remodel

San Jose, CA

A multi-phase relationship that began in 2014 and continues today, from a dramatic four-sided fireplace that reads through the home to a full kitchen renovation and, currently, the exterior and a new pool. Set on an Almaden hillside, the project includes a walk-in wine room and significant structural work to carry the see-through fireplace cleanly across levels.

A small, exacting bathroom carved into the steep rooflines of an attic studio for a longtime architect client. Every element was held to precise measurements, turning roughly 150 square feet of raw space into a finished, detail-driven room.

A newly built home with nothing in the backyard but a single oak, transformed into a full outdoor oasis. Designed and built entirely in-house, it features a sunken swim-up bar with seating set into the pool, half-inch steel bar tops engineered to walk across, a sunken barbecue and cabana with smoker and deep fryer, and an ornate cast-iron drain patinated to look like bronze.
